A penas tengo un pie en Madrid y ya me imagino con un vestido blanco de vuelo y un pañuelo azul marino de lunares blancos a modo diadema recorriendo sus calles de nuevo desde unos altos tacones. Mi resumen de este viaje a Nueva York es que ¡volveré! Como se ve en las fotos, el frío no nos impidió a ninguno del grupo que visitamos la ciudad de la libertad hace dos semanas asistir a las clases de Derecho americano en la Universidad de Columbia y disfrutar de cada segundo en la ciudad.
Nueva York es una metrópoli diseñada a gusto de todos, nadie puede aburrirse en sus calles; caben planes para todos y algunos de los que más recomiendo son: subir al teleférico que te lleva a Roosevelt Island; asistir a un musical en Broadway o ir a un partido de la NBA; visitar Chelsea Market donde puedes comer ostras o comprar algún buen libro; cruzar el puente de Brooklyn o si el destino te lleva perderte en el Bronx.
Para mí fue un sueño hecho realidad... recorrer las calles que protagonizan mi serie preferida,
visitar las tiendas en las que Carrie Bradshaw compraba y comer en los restaurantes que las cuatro lo hacían fue de ensueño. Yo he tenido la suerte de no compartir esta experiencia con tres amigas sino con un fantástico grupo de personas que han hecho de cada momento algo especial.
Si algo tengo que destacar de la ciudad es su gente. Su amabilidad y atención no solo hacen de ella algo encantador sino que te dejan el mejor de los recuerdos.
Mis dos grandes momentos serían el paso en ferry de Nueva York a New Jersey y las shopping por la Quinta Avenida donde compré unos atrevidos Michael Kors que veréis próximamente y unos Steve Madden de piel muy originales.
Pero todo hubiese sido diferente sin la compañía de estos angelitos (aunque falta alguien por ahí):

I went to New
York with my classmates to assit in a course of the American Law at
Columbia University but any free time we had we made the most of it
discovering this amazing city.
My opinion
is that New York is designed for all kinds of people, so I´d find it
impossible for anybody to ever get bored! Here are
some plans I would recommend: take the
cable car over to Roosevelt Island, watch a Broadway show or NBA
game, visit the Chelsea Market where you can taste oysters from all
over the world or simply buy a good book, Take a walk across the
Brooklyn Bridge and why not to get yourself lost in the Bronx.
For me it
was a dream come true...walking on the same streets where my
favourite series was filmed, visiting the same shops that Carrie
Bradshaw used to buy from and eat in the restaurants where she shared
her time with her three best friends...but in my case, I got the
chance to spent the week with a group of great people who made every
moment a special one.
If I had to
highlight a few things from my trip, I would have to say that I was
overwhelmed by the kidness of people in this city, the 7 a.m ferry
from New York over to New Jersey with two great friends and the two
pair of shoes I bought there: Mikael Kors and Steve Madden ( which
you will see soon in my new post).
