En muy poco tiempo tenemos aquí al otoño y hay que empezar a poblar nuestro armario con accesorios y prendas que combinen con lo que más caracteriza nuestros looks de esta estación: chaquetas, foulards y zapatos cerrados. A muchas de nosotras nos agobian estos primeros días otoñales y nos vemos raras después de tantos meses de biquini, vestidos de vuelo y sandalias. Si bien en verano llevamos capachos o bolsos más grandes en los que debe caber abanico, gafas de sol e incluso cremas protectoras, en el otoño podemos lucir bolsos más pequeños con más frecuencia, los cuales nos adornan mucho más y dan a nuestros outfits un toque llamativo y muy in.

Autumn is on the verge of beginning soon and we must prepare our cupboards with accessories and clothes that match with the most characteristic garments of this season: jackets, foulards and closed shoes. RECUERDOS. MEMORIES.

 

 

 

Desde que me mudé a Madrid de nuevo no he parado de reestructurar mi habitación intentando encontrar espacio para ropa nueva o tantos recuerdos que me traje de Londres; cada día hay cajones y armarios que organizar, cajas que mover de sitio, ropa vieja que tirar, bolsos y zapatos que han tenido que pasar a mejor vida, y complementos que no había manera de volver a combinar ya están en la basura...si bien entre tanto cajón he encontrado evidencias de lo que era un “hobby anunciado”. En dos cajones de mi escritorio, junto a antiguos libros de francés y autoescuela tenía cientos de antiguas revistas de moda y catálogos de mil y una tiendas. ¿Cúantas horas podré haber estado pasando sus páginas? En una gran caja encontré mi colección de etiquetas de ropa y el recuerdo de como todo el mundo me ayudaba a agrandarla cada vez que estrenaban una nueva prenda. Pero esta afición no surgió hace pocos años. En otro cajón encontré mis primeros diseños de ropa ( horribles, por cierto) de cuando con 10-12 años ya imaginaba mi futuro como diseñadora. También encontré aquello con lo que mis padres se deshacían de mí unas cuantas horas al día haciéndome callar lo cual me cuentan era algo difícil de conseguir: mis recortables!!!!!

Con todos estos recuerdos os dejo que me conozcáis un poco más. No olvidéis que para saber cual es o será una vocación en vuestras vidas, solo tienes que mirar con que disfrutabas de pequeño, tus aficiones de adolescente y que ocupa el 70% de tu dormitorio.

I am writing this post based on some of my memories with the intention of getting you know me more and warn you about how to see your current or future life vocation. Since I have moved back to Madrid, I keep tidying my room, trying to find some space for my new clothes and all the stuff I brought back from London. Everyday there are too many drawers and cupboards to organize, old clothes to thow away, boxes to move, bags and shoes to pass along and accessories; which are impossible to match anymore. They are already in the bin...although it's true, I found loads of evidences of my hobby in my draws. In two of them, near two old french books and text driving documents, I had hundreds of fashion magazines and catalogues. How many hours could I spend turning their pages? In a big box, I discovered my tag and label collection, brought up memories of my family and friends keeping them for me.

This hobby didn't come up a few years ago. In another of my drawers, I found my first designs ( horribles, by the way) from when I was 10-12 and I already imagining myself as a designer. I also came across my paper doll collection, my parents used to use to keep my mouth shut for a little while, which was unlikely to happen.

I found that fashion has been a passion and something I have loved since I was young. If you want to know what makes yourself happy keep an eye on your hobbies during your childhood, while a teenager, what's your passion in life and what's filling your bedroom.

TIEMPO DE VERANO/ SUMMER TIME

El verano es la época del biquini, por eso hoy os dejo estos originales bañadores con aire sesentero que pueden sustituir aquel que se estropeó en la playa hace unas semanas o a aquellos dos únicos biquinis que ya compraste en junio y no te apetece seguir llevando a la piscina de tu barrio . También, puede ser una futura opción para el próximo verano, ya que este de 2014 viene dando sus últimos coletazos si bien con máximas temperaturas.

Summer is time for bikinis, this is why I propose these two original bathing suits with a 60' style, which can replace the damaged one that we so dearly hang onto because we love it so much or those other two bikinis that you bought in June and you do not feel like wearing anymore at your local swimming pool. RED SHOES

Yo era más de rosa. Cuando era pequeña solía odiar el rojo, tenía la idea errónea de que era un color para mujeres que necesitaban llamar la atención y me parecía inapropiado para toda ocasión. Al parecer los años van venciéndome y mis gustos van modificándose. Adoro el rojo.

Si bien, los zapatos rojos siempre fueron una excepción. Mi madre siempre me inculcó que estos eran un básico en toda mujer con elegancia y un toque de buen gusto, y yo como buena hija siempre los adoré y sigo haciéndolo.

Hoy me gustaría dedicar mi "consejo de moda" a los mil estilos de zapatos ¡en rojo!: stiletos, de salón, manoletinas, sandalias de tacón o planas, zuecos, peep toes, botines...atrévanse con al menos un par en su armario y ¡pisen fuerte!

 

 

I was more the colour pink when I was a child; I used to hate the colour red. I had the idea that red was a colour for women who needed to gain attention; a colour inappropriate for any occasion. As the years are gaining on me my preferences are shifting. I confess I adore red.

Although, red shoes were always an exception. My mother instilled in me that red shoes were a basic accessory for every woman with elegance and good taste. As a good daughter I have always adored them and I keep doing so.

 

I would like to dedicate this "fashion advice" to the thousands of red shoe styles: stilettos, ballroom, sandals (heels or flats), wooden, peep toe and ankle boots. Take the risk of having at least one pair of them in your collection; crush the floor, wade and stand strong!

Hi everybody! My real name is Laura. I am 25 years old and I was born in Madrid where I studied Law at the Complutense University of the same city.

I decided to move to London two years ago to improve and work on my language skills. After a while I started to get bored. I had a bad experience which forced me to make the decision to face my fears and follow my heart. Making this decision has given life to this modest and humble project which appears to have helped me reinvent myself, providing me with enthusiasm and happiness. I have put all my passion into this blog and I have regained excitement and a new ambition which I hope to convey in the best way possible.

London is not only the city where I started the blog. This city is also very influential when it comes to a fashion idea that I found called street-style, which I could define as urban, risky, and outrageous without any doubt. I don’t personally opt for this style, however I have learnt how to get the best features of it and introduce them into my wardrobe. One thing that I have learnt in London is that fashion is the expression of your deepest own and you "decorate" yourself in the way you want people look at you.

I consider myself a passionate, exigent, hard working, loyal, sensible and…a crazy girl!!! Among the things I like the most in life are fashion, reading, laughing with friends, dancing when nobody can see me, spending hours talking with my mum and traveling when my purse allows me.

I would like to thank everyone who is there to remind me of who I am and where we can arrive in life by being confident. This little "myspace" is dedicated to all of you. To the women who take care of their image every day and who make it possible for this life-style. I hope you will enjoy it!

¡Hola a todos! Mi nombre real es Laura. Tengo 25 años y nací en Madrid donde estudié Derecho en la Universidad Complutense de la misma ciudad.

Hace dos años, decidí mudarme a Londres para mejorar mi nivel de inglés pero al poco tiempo empecé a aburrirme de la ciudad ya que no tuve la buena experiencia que pensaba iba a vivir. Esto me llevó a tomar la decisión de afrontar mis miedos y seguir a mi corazón. Así surgió la idea de este modesto proyecto que aparece para reinventarme y el cual intento crear con mucho entusiasmo y felicidad. He puesto toda la pasión posible en este blog lo que me ha dado mucha vida y una nueva ambición la cual llevaré a cabo de la mejor manera posible.

Londres no solo es la ciudad donde empiezo este blog, esta ciudad también tiene una gran influencia en la idea de moda que tengo ahora mismo. Podría definir su street-style como urbano, arriesgado y extravagante sin duda alguna. Quizás estas no son las cualidades que definan mejor mi estilo pero creo que he sabido como captar algunas de sus características e introducirlas en mi armario. Algo que también me ha enseñado Londres es que la moda expresa tu personalidad y nos "decoramos" para mostrar lo que queremos que los demás vean de nosotros.

En cuanto a mí, puedo decir que me considero una chica pasional, exigente con la vida, trabajadora, legal sensible y...alocada!!! Me encanta la moda, leer, reír con mis amigos, bailar cuando nadie me ve, pasar las horas hablando con mi madre y viajar cuando el bolsillo lo permite.

Me gustaría agradecer a todos los que me recuerdan cada día quién soy y quién se puede llegar a ser teniendo confianza en uno mismo. Este pequeño "miespacio" esta dedicado a todos vosotros; a todas las mujeres que cuidan su imagen cada día y que hacen posible esta forma de vida. ¡Espero que lo disfruten!
