Muchas son las leyendas
irlandesas de las que se ha hablado... pero aún no se conoce nuestra
historia legendaria... en principio, nuestra experiencia sería una
más de todas las que las calles de Dublín ven a diario entre sus
habitantes y visitantes, ayudados por su exilir más significativo:
la Guiness. Pero sin embargo, esta historia dista y distará del
conocimiento ajeno y solo quedará en el recuerdo de quien la vivió.
Todos nosotros llegamos
dispuestos a conocer una ciudad sin mayores expectativas que las de
pasar un puente rodeados de gente nueva que nos acompañase unos
días. Lo que nadie sabía es que volveríamos hermanados de la
tierra que santificó Patricio.
El viaje empezó con una
buena metáfora (a mi manera de ver): nos perdimos. Y esta idea se
fue repitiendo a lo largo de tres maravillosos días. Nos
desorientamos no solo en las calles de Temple Bar, conectamos no sólo
con las música de estas guitarras tan bien acariciadas y las bandas
de “la buena música”, no sólo perdimos la noción de la edad
dentro de un grupo variopinto, además fuimos creadores de cuentos
protagonizados por Bríguidas que volvían a su adolescencia en los
bares de Candem, rememoramos el Diluvio Universal del que volvieron a
sobrevivir cerveceros del Arca* dispuestos a hacer de la cerveza el
motor de su existencia, duendes que hacían bailar bandas enteras de
música por las calles y capaces de improvisar una actuación en los
salones de palacio.

There are many Irish legends that have been told... but our legendary story is still not known. In principle, our experience should have been one more of those that the streets of Dublin are used to seeing daily among their inhabitants and visitors, who are helped by Irish's most significant exilir: Guinness. But nevertheless, this story is far from the knowledge of others and only remain in the memories of those who lived it.
We all got ready to see a city with no major expectations, ready to spend some days surrounded by new people. What no one knew was that we would come back to Spain linked as siblings from the hallowed land of Patrick.
The trip started on the right foot (in my point of view): we got lost on a bus from the airport to the hostel. And this phenomenon was repeated throughout three wonderful days. We were disoriented not only in the streets of Temple Bar, connected not only with the music of the guitars so well cherished and the bands playing "good music",but we lost not only the notion of age within a motley crew, but also we became Bríguidas, creators of stories, and returned to our adolescence in Camden bars, we remembered the Flood and our ark also had brewers who were ready to make of beer the fuel of our existence, Leprechauns who danced to a complete music bands on the streets and were able to improvise a performance at the palace halls.
